The first formal phase of consultation (‘Regulation 14 Consultation’) with the village and stakeholders opened on 25 August 2019. The draft Plan and all the supporting documents were published on this website. Printed copies of the Plan were made available in the Parish Office and the Community Shop, and sets of all the supporting documents were available on loan to parishioners without internet access. Consultation ran for longer than the statutory 6 weeks, closing on 31 October 2019.

A dedicated Review Group was established from the Parish Council and NDP team to review and consider all responses and representations. The Review Group recommended changes and amendments to the plan as appropriate, whilst ensuring the Plan conforms to local and national planning policy.

The NDP team will carry out those changes as recommended by the Review Group, and this includes assessing any new housing sites that have come forward in the TWBC Draft Local Plan Regulation 18 Consultation 2019.
